The Lions Club of Canton, GA is a volunteer organization that has been serving the community since 1932. Our dedicated team of volunteers works tirelessly to provide support and assistance to those in need in Canton, GA and the surrounding areas. We provide a range of services including vision screening throughout Cherokee County School District, at private Pre-Ks and Cherokee County Detention Center; we sponsor the Canton Police Department’s Shop-with-a-Cop to support underserved elementary school students during the holidays; we sponsor the Star Student program where we recognize top acedemic achievements from high school seniors as well as their Star Teachers; we sponsor Lions International's Peace Poster program where middle school students use art to express their vision of each year’s Peace theme; In September, we offer train rides to kids both young and older during Riverfest. Our mission is to make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve and to make Canton, GA a better place for everyone. Join us today and be a part of the change!
