Vision assistance

The Canton Lions Club, in partnership with the Georgia Lions Lighthouse, offers vital vision assistance to individuals who otherwise cannot afford the cost of eyewear. Through this service, qualified individuals receive a comprehensive eye exam and a prescription. Once the prescription is established, the Georgia Lions Lighthouse helps provide a pair of glasses — restoring vision for those in financial need and offering a chance to improve quality of life through clearer sight.

This effort is part of a long tradition of service by Lions clubs worldwide — supported and amplified by Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF). Founded in 1968, LCIF serves as the charitable arm of the global network of Lions clubs. Its mission is to empower Lions clubs, volunteers, and partners to improve health and well-being, strengthen communities, and support people in need — both locally and globally.
