Supporting local families through holiday kindness

Each year, our Lions Club partners with local law enforcement to brighten the holidays for children in need through the Shop With a Cop program. Together, we help provide gifts, essentials, and an uplifting experience that these families may not otherwise receive.

Shop With a Cop is one of our most heart-centered service projects. Working alongside local police officers, our Canton Lions Club supports children who might be facing financial hardship or difficult circumstances during the holiday season. Funds raised throughout the year help ensure that each participating child can purchase clothing, toys, and personal essentials — all while spending the day with a caring officer who provides encouragement and mentorship.

This program not only meets immediate needs, but also strengthens relationships between families and the officers who serve our community. By assisting with coordination, fundraising, and hands-on support during the event, our club helps create an unforgettable holiday experience that shows children they are valued, supported, and never alone.
